// WHY FREIGHT THINK?

Companies can no longer afford to have their “product” and “logistics” teams operate independently. When these areas are not well aligned, each side can make decisions, sometimes expensive ones, based upon a limited understanding of the effects that they can have on total company profitability. This gap is, in part, a by-product of the fact that the transportation industry has lagged others in terms of technical sophistication, collaboration, and advanced analytics.  As such, shippers often do not have the same depth of knowledge regarding their freight expenditures as they do in other aspects of their business.

The concept of Freight Think is to take a holistic view of an organizations supply chain and develop a deeper understanding of where and how freight dollars are spent in order to identify opportunities and implement solutions to add efficiency, reduce costs and improve profitability.

Unlike many big-name consulting firms, we will focus on the areas we know best and where we have personally achieved repeated success.
